BIM CUBE available for use...
WACA has invested in a state-of-the-art Building Information Modeling (BIM) CUBE, now available to both members and industry partners. Located at the WACA office at 5726 Sonoma Drive in Pleasanton, it’s basically a movie theater where construction documents and virtual 3D BIM models can be expanded on adjoining walls on a large scale. The BIM CUBE is a three-dimensional interactive digital model room, an extraordinary new level of thinking beyond traditional two-dimensional paper blueprints. WACA has two BIM CUBE spaces, one is a room [dimensions to be included] within the WACA building and the other is a mobile standalone that projects on two 20-feet by 13-feet walls using a 1:1 human scale. Drywall and framing subcontractors can get in on project preconstruction planning early on. WACA is excited about this new member benefit and the ability to provide design technology that can prevent costly rework after a project commences. If members and partners are interested in utilizing our in house BIM CUBE room feel free to contact us to reserve the space.
