ABOUT THE AWARD
The scholarships are designed to help further the undergraduate studies of students pursuing a Construction Management, Construction Engineering or Architecture degree. Awards are granted without regard to student race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.

UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY
- Enrolled as a full-time student
- California resident attending an accredited University of California or California State University
- Junior or senior level in process of earning degree
- Enrolled in a Construction Management, Construction Engineering or Architecture degree program
- Demonstrate financial need
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0
REQUIREMENTS
- Applicant must complete the online application form (below) and email unofficial transcripts by November 15, 2019
- Personal essay no more than 200 words
- A current, complete transcript of grades showing the last two academic school grades, including declared major. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit for courses taken. Please note if selected for the scholarship, official proof of transcripts will be requested to be declared a scholarship winner.

AWARDS PROCESS
- Applicants will receive an email acknowledgment of their submitted scholarship application
- Applications will be reviewed, evaluated and selected by WACA’s Scholarship Committee. The Committee will consider all aspects of applicant’s information: construction related field of study, grades, extracurricular activities, employment experience, financial need information and essay questions
- Selected applicants may be asked to participate in a phone interview with a representative of the WACA Scholarship Committee
- Applicants will be notified of scholarship status after the Scholarship Committee selects the winners
- Scholarship check will be mailed directly to the award recipient’s school to be applied towards tuition
